Scotland’s Genealogy

scotlands-genealogyHello I’m Chris Halliday a genealogist and family historian who loves discovering your family history in national and local archives throughout Scotland. Many people building their family trees have easy access on the internet to such great sites as ScotlandsPeople where they can view digital copies of original records. However there are many more records which are not and never will be put on line. I can draw up a research plan for you to consider if you are unable due to time or distance to visit archives and repositories throughout Scotland

I have easy access to the National Records of Scotland,National Library of Scotland,Scottish Roman Catholic Archive and regularly visit archives in the Highlands,Borders and Glasgow.

In addition I enjoy getting out and about to locate and photograph buildings connected with your family.Perhaps a farmhouse, school, gravestone which you would liked photographed.
