London Family History Show

Where: Sandown Park Racecourse, Esher
Info: Run by the organisers of the Yorkshire Family History Show the London event is attracting exhibitors and family history societies from all over the UK.
You don’t have to have London Ancestors to come to this fair – they can be from anywhere in the country! Everyone is very welcome and there will be lots to see. There is plenty of parking and refreshments are available all day. Tickets will be £4.80 at the door.

Essential Sources for Family Historians – Weekend Course

Hampshire Family History Open Day

Info: Open to all, this year’s event will give you the chance to delve into the records and uncover the facts behind what happened in Britain while our soldiers were away at war. Discover who served on the Home Front. Take a look at those affected by evacuation, detained as prisoners of war and your relative’s day-to-day existence living with air raids and rationing. Look at what can be found in the 1939 Register.
